[Goat's Wood Texture]

I've been using it for a while and now you can too! :P Click the picture to download. 

Included are two .pds files of the base wood texture in Pooklet's Volatile action. As long you don't claim it as your own, go ahead and use it. 

Creator tip: when using darker actions/colors, layer the wood base 10% opacity. It makes the texture less flood-filly and more luminous in my experience. 



ETA, 9/8/2012: I've got a second wood texture to share! This one takes credit from n_a_n_u at TSR and ATS. Included is the one base volatile texture. Click the picture to download.

Sorry, I couldn't edit my original comment, but I wanted to clarify something please: when you say about overlaying the base at 10% opacity, is that after the colour actions has been applied?

Yes, that is what I meant, sorry if I wasn't clearer. For example, you'd run an action over your base and then take that same base, paste it, and then reduce the opacity to 10%, and merge the layers.

Just curious, do you have plain old high quality PNG files of the textures at all? I've never been able to wrap my head around using color actions.

It is a png actually. It's just the wood texture in Pooklet's Volatile. I apply the actions afterward.
